Zero, Low Alcohol
Bitburger Premium Pils 0%
Pilsner
Yes, zero alcohol, taste equivalent to a number of the mass-produced Lion/Carlton beers (ho-hum) but ideal for hot sunny days when you’re the designated driver
Sep 18-Mar 19
Carlton Zero 0%
Lager
Tastes very similar to a Carlton Draught. Not my preference but a great choice if it has to be zero alcohol

Devilbend Farm I Can’t Believe It’s Not Lager Non-Alcoholic 0.5%
Lager
Crisp like a lager, strong malt flavour and hoppy. As good as any non-alcoholic beer out there

Heaps Normal Quiet XPA <0.5%
XPA
Excellent zero alcohol drop. Tropical fruit, touch of malt, mid-bitterness. Full beer flavour - clever

Heineken 0.0 Beer
Lager
Quite similar to an alcoholic Heineken, a reasonable lager that stands on its own despite it also being zero alcohol. Mighty fine achievement

Molly Rose Radler Lime & Jalapeño Lager 2.8%
Lager
Lime upfront, ginger and a spicy heat that lingers at the back. Clean and fresh and an excellent light beer alternative.

Molly Rose Radler Very Mandarin Lager 2.8%
Lager
The warning on the side of the can gives a clue ‘Contains mandarin’. That’s about it for this lager, although it’s refreshing and a good summer outdoors option

Pirate Life Point Nine Ale 0.9%
Ale
Very low alcohol, low-mid bitterness, lemon, un-ripe peach, but, overall, not quite satisfying. Taste is very similar to Athletic Brewing’s Run Wild 0.5% IPA. Prefer Heineken 0.0 or Carlton Zero, although different styles, to these.

Pirate Life Point Nine Ale 0.9%
Ale
A low alcohol beverage that just misses the mark. Dry, wheaty, not much body, hot ginger, bitterness out of balance. Reviewed previously and am a bit more sympathetic to it this time

Sobah Beverages Pepperberry IPA < 0.5%
IPA
Hoppy, citrus, spice, pepper, eucalypt - one of the best low alcohol beers. Available in Coles supermarkets
